St. Mary's proposed expansion for its athletic program will take place across the street from their current building, located on the St. Michael the Archangel site. We imagine a very transparent building covered in copper screens and glass to reduce the building's bulk, to complement the masonry of the historic building; to provide views into the structure; and to create a landmark "lantern" at night when the lights are on.
